Description

Deed of settlement on prospect of marriage of John Henry Wallace and Ester Ann Halyday, under which the former agrees to convey a plot of ground on Kildare Street, Newry, County Down, property near Sugar Island, Newry, County Armagh and a tenement on Irish Street, city of Armagh, in trust to Arbuckle Halyday and Samuel Wallace. It is provided that in the event of the death of John Henry Wallace, a jointure in the form of a rent charge on the property of £70 per year will be paid to Ester Ann Halyday; also, that John Henry Wallace is to pay annual subscriptions to the Amicable Annuity Company of Newry, with proceeds used to supplement the annual jointure.
