Bond and plan for the building of the bridge over the Newry River. Bond between James Clarke, Newry, County Down, Mason and Samuel Boyd, Newry, County Armagh, Merchant, and William Edmond Reilly, Trevor Corry, Thomas G. Henry, Dennis Maguire, George Ogle, Godfrey Arbuckle Halyday and Edward Clarke, for the sum of three hundred pounds sterling, to be paid to the said William Edmond Reilly, Trevor Corry, Thomas G. Henry, Dennis Maguire, George Ogle, Godfrey Arbuckle Halyday and Edward Clarke or their survivors or survivors of them or the executors, administrators or assigns of such survivors to the which payment well and truly to be made. James Clarke proposed that the said men, appointed as a committee by subscribers to subscriptions to help in the expense of making a bridge, erect, build and finish one of the bridges to be at the foot of Margaret Street, with all the walls pertaining thereto according to the ground plan and elevation signed by the said James Clarke.
