Postcard issued to Rifleman George A. McCrum informing him that the medals to which he is entitled are available to be issued. All combatants were entitled to the British War Medal, of which 6,610,000 were awarded, and the Victory Medal. George McCrum was in the Royal Irish Rifles, his address is given as 2 Milling Hamlet, Newry. Only those who had left for the front before 23 November 1914 were entitled to the 1914 Star, while anyone who had gone between then and 31 December 1915 was entitled to the 1915 Star.
