Irish dancing dress from the Arthur Burns School of Dancing, worn by Sheila Nolan when she won the All-Ireland and International Championship in 1970 and when she won the Three Hand Reel with her brother and sister at Newry Musical Feis in 1971. The costume is hand-embroidered with designs and motifs from the Book of Kells, the design for this solo costume being chosen by Sheila Nolan herself. The collar and cuffs are crocheted by hand.
